"Rusty & I stayed in Joshua Tree for only 2 nights at the end of summer. It was still so hot outside we couldn't do much successfully during the day other then relax in our abode under A/C. We'd wait until the sun burnt off a bit and the shadows deepened for us to slowly cruise around the backroads, stopping when we could to take a photo. To witness these phenomenal trees in person is really something, to learn that they're not surviving is heartbreaking, and we are very grateful to capture our travels with the fullest of hearts."
