"Vista Palizada" is the famous "Frey House II" designed by architect, Albert Frey (1903-1998) one of the most important modern architects of our time who lived and worked in Palm Springs since 1934. This house was finished in 1964 and perched on the hillside at the west end of Tahquitz Canyon Way.
"Its 3pm in late September & you wonder why you're outside driving around the streets in 40+ degree heat. Then you see a little house, surrounded by rocks, wedged into the side of the mountains & questions, how much shade does that one palm tree throw?"
